Agreed. InvisibleHand does its job but is only necessary 5% of the time I am using Chrome. The other 95% of the time it is just extremely annoying having such a large banner spread across every single page.
Saved me thirty dollars yesterday. Often it's coupons or deals don't apply, but I can't think of another app that saved me thirty bucks
I am increasingly annoyed by IH's impact on the display of web pages. Part of the sites and product pages are being obscured by IH's too large banner bar. This is very evident on Amazon. I am thinking of uninstalling IH because I am a heavy Amazon user and IH has never addressed this issue. Make your banner very thin with a dropdown menu that can be accessed when I want but not get in the way. An UI update is long over due for this app!
Saves me thousands of dollars each year.
This is indeed invaluable for some money-saving purchases at the last minute. Its price search does not support coupons / promo codes or discounted prices that are not displayed on the item page though. Search results are also inaccurate in items that have many variants like microSD or RAM sticks. I find their "discreet notification" to be misleading, as it is really obtrusive. Its top-side pop-up bar pushes the whole page down, making me mis-click most of the time. When hidden, its icon stays afloat on the top-right corner of the page. The toolbar could've been used for it to make it appear, but it's mostly useless. Unfortunately the Options page is not utilized, which could be potentially very useful for customizations. I have not seen it install any other extension.
Dumps a ton of stuff in the developer console. Browser_helper.js. Makes it unusable if you ever use the developer console
I absolutely love this site. I have found many deals in the past month. I forgot I had added it on and when i started shopping I thought how annoying and where did I go, and now i got some add - on or virus with this yellow bar on top of my site. I finally clicked on it and voila... it was a money saver.
Very useful for finding products but unfortunately this extension is also very obnoxious! It pops up on the top of the page and frequently blocks important links on the website (e.g., the "checkout" or "cart" buttons).
Excellent - does exactly what it is supposed to do and is truly invisible til it's working and you need it!! Also offers tabs for reviews and even for relevant coupons. Brilliant!
The ONLY problem is - on some sites, it pushes down some content, and things like menus at the top (that get covered up by the plugin) become not clickable. Is there ANY way to make the top bar from the plugin close/disappear (temporarily), or moved to the bottom of the browser??
