It's good but it needs changes. 1) The bar that appears (after the short delay) is very intrusive - as it's at the top it shifts the entire page, causing misclicks. It doesn't need to take the entire width of the screen! Give us an option to place it at the bottom of the screen. 2) Stop showing other sites when the current site is the best deal - just a small icon showing this is the best place is sufficient, no need for the full bar to appear. 3) I'm fed up of the "vouchers" on websites that aren't proper shopping sites - like Cinema bookings, the vouchers are usually incorrect, expired or duplicated multiple times - which they don't actually go anywhere except refresh the page! Utterly useless! 4) Filters - I'd like to blacklist sites that IH runs on, probably joins with (3).
It's a good idea but needs some useful features. Like instead of popping up everywhere, give me a button I can push when I want to see results. Give me the option of putting the bar at the bottom of the screen so it doesn't constantly move things around as I'm trying to click them or covering up important stuff at the top of the screen. White and blacklists would be useful as well.
Was awesome but someone broke it - it pops up on sites that don't sell anything and honestly it is way too aggressive. Save me some money and help me out, but don't remind me you are there or distract me when you have nothing to offer. I should only ever see IH when it has a lower price. Also, can we set a price difference? I don't even care about a dollar or two. Let me tell IH to ONLY ALERT ME when it has found a deal that is X% or $X better than the one I am looking at please.
Definitely useful from time to time. I would really appreciate it, though, if it were possible to choose whether to deactivate the extension for specific domains.
thank you, great simplification for shopping, especially my girlfriend, she loves it - always trying to get best deal :)
Very useful. But as others have reported, it does pop up on non-shopping sites.
This started out pretty awesome. but now it's popping up ALL the time. I am not uninstalling it. Why? Because I was on amazon looking at an item for 15$ It popped up to helpfully tell me about the same item costing 30 PLUS 8 bucks shipping somewhere else. That.. isn't a deal. I don't want to know that. :( Not to mention, when it pops up on google, it blocks the search field at the top. Thanks Invisible hand. :C
Used to be really useful, popping up when it found a better offer on what you were browsing. Now it pops up all the time, and usually just when you are about to click on a link or type something into a search field on the website you are browsing. The main problem is that the banner which pops up moves the website down a few lines, so you end up clicking on something you didn't intend to. The "coupons" it comes up with are not coupons at all, they are the normal offers on the website, like "free shipping on orders over £50" that you don't need a coupon for. Used to be good, now very irritating. I've deleted it.
Latest version pops up on non-shopping sites. I am disabling it until I need it. Too bad.
What used to be a useful extension is getting ever more annoying and bothersome. It badly needs a feature to filter out certain websites (like google search results) so that I'm not constantly bombarded with the pop-up window every time I search for something.
