it is not free.
Mac user. This was good 2 years ago. Now I hate it. Spent 25 mins recording and re-recording an SOP but it kept freezing up. And the worse part: I am a paying user with tons of glitches. On Chrome you can be recording but unsure--the management bar disappears. When I swap tabs, the timer is MIA. I don't know if I'm recording 75% of the time because the play/pause button is missing or unclickable.
Never make another screen recorder again. Basic functions are paywalled and there is already little to no functionality.

Slow and expensive...
Used to be good but its so bugged now. Im a paying user but still get a lot of issues. On chrome, when i switch tabs, the timer goes AWOL. Can't guess if i'm still recording or not because the timer stops all of sudden and play/pause is unclickable.
The pause mechanism is broken, especially when navigating between tabs. Often I want to pause recording to cut out pauses/delays while recording demos. The pause button state is totally broken and won't correctly pause/unpause if you pause then switch tabs. The final result of the video is totally unusable because the pause mechanism just didn't work or it did work and chopped parts of the video that should not have been removed. This makes this extension totally unusable for me. I really like Loom as a product in general but this is so frustrating. This has been a bug for months. Plz fix 🙏
Poor options to export videos. Only saves in mpeg4 format which has limited availability and support on MAC OS. Asking for $24/month which is a high amount for such a simple product that has very limited use.
