only tried it on pintrist, doesn't work
It works great if I know a site has an overlay it will remove it without issue, but having to click makes it useless as most overlays I find are hidden and open popups or have some other malicious behavior. I would love a global remove overlay or per site auto-remove.
Can not remove completely, i am using adblock, it removes adblock overlay but do not remove Article:opacity :0.04%, when i write it 1% article shows but automatically changes to 0.04%, then i deleted and it worked. to try, open this website using adblock http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tech/tech-news/Apple-iPhone-7-iPhone-7-Plus-to-launch-in-India-on-October-7-price-starts-at-Rs-60000/articleshow/54162947.cms
This overlay remover really does work but it needs to be updated. Pinterest has found a way to keep the overlay on the screen and this extension doesn't detect it anymore.
Didn't work on Pinterest, but what I really wanted it for was the facebook login overlay, and it works on that.
Was working great, now there is a pop up stating no overlay and there is clearly an overlay.
Awesome extension, for the most part it works. But as of today, 30/07/16 it no longer works on pinterest. Update plz!
Has not worked once for me. I'll wait for a response from the developer, but failing that I'm uninstalling. I can get the same effect by disabling javascript anyway. Edit: It has been working for the past couple days. Maybe I was trying to use it on sites it won't work on? I've added another star to the review.
extension needs some work. when i click it after the overlay comes up, the article's body text doesnt appear, only some pictures and other non-article parts of the page.
