While the Screenshot YouTube Video extension provides a convenient way to capture frames from YouTube videos, its performance issues make it difficult to recommend. During normal use, I noticed that it consistently consumed high CPU resources, causing my system to slow down significantly. I had to identify it through Chrome's Task Manager after observing high system resource usage. Disabling the extension immediately improved performance, confirming it was the main culprit. If the developers can optimize the extension to reduce its CPU usage, this would be a great tool. However, until then, I’d suggest finding an alternative that’s lighter on system resources.
