Hi there. I am a paying / premium user of your app on Android and I also use it on Chrome. I have a few pieces of feedback I think (I hope) you really seriously consider, for the good of the app and all of us. 1) As I am a paying user who signs in I would like AppBlock to allow me to mirror my blocking keywords, schedules etc cross device (so on Chrome). I've spent copious amounts of time carefully setting up a long, long list of blocklisted keywords, blocklist URLs, time tables and strict mode rules on my Android. It'd be good to be asked to sign in on Chrome, Appblock recognise I'm a premium user, and carry over my settings to this new device. 2) Secondly, your "block keyword in web content" filter on the Chrome extension doesn't work correctly. I don't exactly know why, but AppBlock on Chrome is denying access to pretty much everything, even if the content, and the URL, doesn't contain the whole word. For example, say I want to block "xxx" in web content and anywhere in URL. It seems to deny me access to things like Gmail or YouTube or pretty much any site if it detects any usage of the word "x" or "xx" within any word. In other words the filter seems to detect and block PART matches of words rather than entire strings. For another example, say I wanted to block the word "porn", it will seemingly block any website that contains any word that has "or" in it. So if a Youtube video title contains the word "Orange" then that webpage will be blocked by AppBlock. That kind of thing. So the "block in web content" rule need to be thoroughly tested and re-worked; they cannot be used right now. 3) Thirdly, if there is some way to have Appblock be a Windows Desktop app, that operates to the full degree that the Android app does, across all apps and across all browsers, that'd be the most ideal solution. I figure this is a much bigger ask than just addressing the first two things. That's about it. I'd really like you to consider these. Thanks again, the app is very good otherwise.
Very good
Useful in Exams Lol
Terrible !!!! It works so well on my phone. But when it come to use it on my laptop is terrible, it not user friendly and so confusing to use. I can even put in a set time limit to use other site and have to schedules it in.
Best invention of all time! The free version helped me through year 11 and 12 and would have never survived with out. I have it on my phone and now on my laptop so definitely recommend.
Excelente, só falta integrar com o app do celular!
The most annoying thing about this extension is if you try to edit a schedule at any point after the initial schedule creation, the screen goes white. Refreshing the page does nothing. If you look at the extension in the extensions tab it'll suddenly say the schedule is disabled and if you re-enable the schedule, the entire extension breaks until you remove the extension and re-add it. The app on mobile devices works great. The extension on other devices is a buggy mess.
One of the greatest productivity tools out there
