This extension detects M3U8 streaming formats on the active tab and offers to download these segmented streams as a single file to the user's local disk.
This extension detects all possible video qualities and uses direct disk writing to store segments. So there is no need to have a recovery plan from a possible crash. Your data is written instantly to the local file and is ready to use. It also merges all segments automatically when the file is fetched. To improve download capability, the extension also sets the referrer header of the original page.
This extension uses multiple threads to download the HLS stream to increase the downloading speed and stability. Also, it supports resuming the download process when there is a network failure (Thanks to the TDM.JS engine).
How to use it:
1. Go to a streaming website like https://videojs.com/
2. Wait until the toolbar color changes

It can't find the file/playlist of live streams on Steam Store.
Free and works for M3u8. Only extension that really works (More than 30 tested before)
Работает с kinescopecdn, но дорожка аудио и видео качаются по отдельности. После приходится склеивать своими силами. Если требуется просмотр только на ПК, можно использовать MediaPlayerClassic и в нем вручную подключать звуковую дорожку.

This was a great tool for years but over the past couple weeks it has not worked and has downloaded unreadable files, cannot even be converted after the fact.
Awesome Finally found something that works
This tool is so powerful in concern of detecting the live stream file (It can even detect the subtitle file if it was exist! and that's a rare thing!) however for downloading it is not the best solution because: - it does not download the file in Mp4 format! - It does not rename the file as it shows in front of you on the web! - And I sometimes experienced that the download stuck at 99%! Finally there is a way for taking advantage of this tool is by using it's detecting function and copy the link and paste to any external downloading program (It can become a handy!) And it is a free tool! so thanks to the developer and I hope you can Improve it in the future!
