It is not fast enough, and google keep is always having sync problems, it is always losing my notes. It is not trustable, and does not have a native Desktop app, and it does not have an API.

It would be cool if the extension could be also compatible for other Chromium-based browsers such as Vivaldi or Opera. The extension requires you to login into Google to use it: okay, but when you are using, let's say, Vivaldi, Keep is not capable of loading the login screen because it loads a login page that only Chrome can recognize.

This is about GOOGLE KEEP CHROME EXTENSION. Actually, I couldn't say it better than the extension description, but here goes. I have been using this desktop ext and it's companion app on my iphone for about a month now. I find this ext/app to be very practical and useful. I can take notes or post links to sites or pull up a page for display for later use. I can download whatever I want. I can write emails, etc. I can collaborate with my friends when I have a written piece to work on. The ext/app appears somewhat like a collage, but an organized one. It automatically prioritizes your input according to time. You can change the order as you wish. I like that I can post photos wherever I want. That is a huge plus for me. Photos really help me remember things. They also make writing enjoyable. In addition to the photo feature you have timed reminders with repeat if needed. And the icing on the cake? Everything is synced across all devices! In Google settings you have a list of options to chose from, such as sharing. I have been searching for a sync enabled organizer/planner/mind map, etc. forever and I think this is the one for me :) I understand why some reviewers think it's useless. Everyone has their own method or way of organizing themselves. Planners, mind maps organizers are highly individual.I believe since this extension is so versatile anyone can use this if they familiarize themselves with it. The learning curve is very short.But to continue, . If you are not you don't know what a mind map, do google it. They are a different animal for sure. I like to add photos to most anything I input, because that's the way my brain works.I am a visual learner and I have a visual memory. If you have a auditory memory there is a microphone to record and play back as a reminder or for any other use. It When you use the microphone the ext/app types it out for you in whatever form you like. For instance, letter form or reminder. You can also listen to what you recorded. I think that's very practical for reminders and for school. If you are a haptic learner you have several types of pens and colors to work with. You can even draw pictures or diagrams. Nice, eh? . The ext/app gives you a display of colors. I think that makes looking at your work pleasant. also there are NO ADS and it is FREE! :) GOOGLE KEEP CHROME EXTENSION is a creative piece for sure. The resolution is crystal clear. There's plenty of space to work with. Well, I think I have covered most if it if not all of it. If you have any questions just leave a comment and I'll do my best to help you out. So far,I never have had technical problems. So why did I give it 4 stars? Because I would like to work with it off-line If you find an off-line mode hiding in the the corner, please do let me know. Missing feature number 2: I would like to have a lock, especially for my phone for this ext/app. I really don't care for my private stuff to be read while I leave my phone on the table or have the computer open. here is no lock for the I know you can lock your computer and phone, but that is inconvenient. Despite these two flaws I think Google did a fantastic job! I commend them for their creativity. They certainly know how to inspire their followers and rightly so. I think this is one of their hits. Thanks Google! :)
