Update as of 9-28-2022: Still an excellent tool that I use every week day. If there was a one-time purchase option I'd do it. But just not broadly critical enough to warrant an ongoing subscription, sorry. Maybe $1.5/month. Original review: It is an excellent improvement to Google Tasks. Thank you!
