Really good extension that I hope continues to be maintained. Really like the fact that the tab state is saved which a lot of tab managers don't do. This can cause problems when several tabs need to be reloaded on opening a separate session. But that does not seem to be a problem with tabXpert.

I create local copies of websites. In tabXpert you can save the local copy home pages in a session for later easy access. I haven't been able to do this with Microsoft Edge collections.

This is the first time I've given feedback on a chrome extension. What I'm trying to say is that tabXpert is the thing I've been looking for all this time. Please don't let this extension die!

For my work it is crucial to be distracted (learning new things), but also not being too distracted (focussing on my aims). So how do I manage my attention and my distractions? I am still looking for the perfect tool, but tabXpert is definitely a great help. It strikes a good balance between being easy to learn and use on the one hand and being powerful on the other hand. Originally, I found tabXpert because I was looking for a way to save resources. Chrome is eating up a lot of memory when one has 100 tabs open. But now I find most valuable simple features such as naming and renaming sessions and moving tabs between sessions. I am surprised myself how powerful I find this. I use tabXpert in conjunction with hackmd for taking markdown notes. The two work very well together. As somebody else wrote: Only reason I use Chrome.

I was just adding TabX to Brave Beta (my test/alternate browser on Mac Sanoma) and realized I've never taken the time to share my testimony/endorsement expressing my gratitude for this invaluable asset... 🔥🔥 ...And it's been a critical part of my daily browsing efficiency & optimization for likely more than a DECADE now... like, for as long as its been available!!! 🙏🏾 This extension is Rock Solid and has always been thro' out all these years and the Develop has done a masterful job keeping it updated and continually improving and enhancing it, but at a thoughtful and balanced rate. I.e. Not too many or disruptive updates, and thus had remained super-reliable!! It has been the first thing that greets me when start my computer and launch my browser, prompting me with very intelligent options to start the day from, but most critically for me, it has been a very reliable, truly "low maintenance" browsing session recovery tool when the browser or PC crashes or other unplanned session closing!! At the back of my mind, I rest a lot easier knowing that I can easily recover the past active or recent historical sessions with Tabxpert!! It's also literally eliminated the need for my Browser's (often much more deficient) History searches or Archiving!! My apologies for not sharing my review sooner (I really thought I had), but I am, and always have been... *MASSIVELY THANKFUL* for allll the many years of remarkable high quality service, performance and dependability I've enjoyed from the application, while at the same time, demonstrating a highly trustworthy approach and commitment to the Privacy and Protection of your user's data!! Thank you!! I have watched the popularity and adoption growing and I couldn't be happier as it is very well deserved for the quality and value you provide to your users!! Thank you, keep up the good work... and wishing you all continued success!! Tony W.

Great bit of kit, simple interface and does what it says on the packet. Automatic saving of tabs, and closing them down to keep a single window is great for keeping minimal pages open, and reducing the resource draw

Just perfect! Respects privacy, reliable and has free features that does all you need without limit on number of sessions you can create unlike most other extensions that constantly have problems. I've used Opera GX which is when I fell in love with "Workspaces", Firefox which has alternate extensions that are great for "workspaces" but other chromium browsers lacked this feature. Every extension simply sucked until now and I wanted to keep on using Brave browser and now I can! Hell a few weeks ago I wanted to find out a way to open tabs next to the current one and couldn't find a solution unlike Firefox but now the extension keeps adding new useful features which solves this problem and others I have. It's crazy how lucky I got with this and glad I gave it a try. There is literally nothing better than this. I officially can use Brave browser for reasonable privacy while also get all the productive features I loved from Opera GX, Vivaldi and Firefox. May even remove my tab suspension extension if there's a "suspend tabs after X minutes" or something, we'll see. NOTE of advice: read the help provided in settings closely. Had duplicate sessions and resolved easily by reading everything again.

I used Session Buddy until they changed the search function and destroyed the main functionality. Had tabXpert as my second choice but now it is the most useful to be found. However I lack several things: 1. search window closes every time you click on a result, should remain open and allow manual closing 2. cannot see all windows with context listed, must click on every window instead of scrolling/searching text (tabs in a window may be related to other tabs in the same place) 3. searched items may be in the same window but that is not seen My main use of a tab manager is to get back to certain pages that I used a little earlier in my work, and find duplicates and pages that I can close. I can easily have thousands of tabs of all kinds open at a time and need to navigate quickly without needing to personalize with tags etc as if changes all the time.
