The idea is great, but I don’t understand why it needs login to fetch videos, many extensions, such as watchmarker for youtube, which is a similar idea but for videos on youtube history, can fetch all videos automatically without any authorization. Would it be possible to not need login?
The authorization is busted. It wont stay logged in.
It seems to work, but every couple of minutes it requires re-authorization.
3 stars is criminal, the extension works exactly as advertised. It just might take a bit for it to initially load all your playlists (especially if you're like me, with tens of playlists containing thousands of videos), but afterwards it works fine. And of course, it can take a minute or two to update, but that's because of the YouTube API, not the extension. Of course, it can't get the history before the extension was added, since that kind of information isn't available. But, for videos that are on the playlist, the API *can* access the date it was most recently added. Perhaps the extension could populate the history with that upon first launch? It might not be the full history, but it's the best that could be done.
It doesn't even work
It's a good extension and an amazing idea. I'm guessing it has a limit on how far it can go back because the extension states that I haven't edited my playlists ever when in reality I used too all the time but that was 3 years ago. Overall good extension just wish it went back further.
Works perfectly, and comes with an incredible added bonus, which probably wasn't intended by the creator but is worth installing this extension all by itself. Youtube hides videos which have been deleted and are no longer accessible, which can be a problem if you don't remember what those videos were. This extension can be used to recover the names and thumbnails of those videos by moving all the files to a new playlist and checking the backup against the original playlist. Just for that alone this would get five stars, even if the extension didn't also work as advertised.
works great, does exactly what it says it does. helps a ton when i manage my playlists
I cannot for the life of me get this to work or do anything for that matter. I dont think it does at all.
Simple, easy, does exactly what it says it does, and has definitely helped me from trying to dig around for songs that go removed or deleted from my music playlists!
