This extension works sometimes.
Works as advertised. Whatever is wrong with Youtube for disabling native functionality is rectified by this plugin which does exactly what it states and no more. Only thing missing is Settings > Auto On when Youtube video playing, or such functionality toggle as embed icon as part of player view.
it does function as advertised, however I need to turn it off and turn it on every time I want to use it. inconvenient, but it works otherwise

Nice xtension, made my pc more pro
срабатывает не всегда. приходится обновлять страницу. нет управления таймлайном. нет управления уровнем громкости. запуск из панели расширений, а лучше бы всплывающая кнопка в окне видео на странице сайта. не умеет показывать субтитры в плавающем окне. то есть, в целом работает, но очень сырая и недоделанная вещь.
Ооочень удобно! * разве что только осталось добавить больше функционала: 1. управление таймлайном; 2. возможно, полупрозрачность для окна.
