It's good as a language reactor clone, but the testing feature kinda sucks. It keeps testing me on really easy stuff and I can't find any way to increase the difficulty. I already know the language I'm studying decently well, so getting the easy stuff doesn't challenge or help me at all. And a lot of the stuff it tests for is really weird. It's tested me on a scream. Someone screamed in the show I was watching and it was put in the subtitles and the testing AI made that a question and told me to write what I heard. That's not gonna help anyone with language proficiency. It's a cool concept but it seems pretty unpolished.
wow wow wow I'm switching from Opera to Chrome for this extension only
Overall, great extension, however, I feel it could benefit from a few things: - It’s frustrating how I need to select the languages each time I watch a new video on YouTube. It should save my settings across videos. - It would be great if there were a dictionary like they have in the iago extension - For Japanese, it would be good to select either hiragana vs kanji when doing a review Other than these, it’s a great extension.
It does what it says in the description, but payment is required after 7 days (with no credit card needed!). It's €59.88 per year currently, which is a pretty good amount of money for what it gives, but In my opinion I think it needs extra features to justify the price. That being said, great extension! Works perfectly on Netflix for me on any languages. The only gripe I have with it is that I have to switch my keyboard for Japanese to type in the characters for some of the questions it asks. Would be cool if it changed romanji into hirigana though. It does do everything perfectly! I haven't encountered a problem using it yet, except for the fact that some of the questions are too difficult for my skill level, which is more of me problem if anything. It also works great when I turn off the questioning functionality! 10/10 extension.
This is a new system of learning for me. I love how interactive it is with practically any video you want to watch. I think its great. I've only recently started using it but I'm finding it easy to use and it's fun. It's helpful listening to German conversations, even if I have to rewind a few seconds to repeat the sentence and listen again. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for this :)
