You suck Awesome Tab Page. You lived up to your name until you injected malware. I don't mind if you want to find a way to monetize. But your extension spontaneously opens 3 ads and sometimes crashes my browser, or if I'm lucky, just slows it to a crawl. Disabled until I hear this has been fixed.
It made random video ads show up on webpages.
Stupid ads and it has malware in it. Do not install!
I loved this app but I'm gonna delete it as it displays ads in youtube and makes it stop working!
I am fed up of turning off the ads only to have them turn back on every time the extension is updated. I would much prefer to pay for a version with no ads. Or if you have to have ads, please limit them to the new tab page. Having obtrusive ads littering most sites I visit is ruining those sites for me and doing a disservice to the excellent work you have put into developing this app.
I wouldn't mind leaving the ads turned on, but yesterday while watching youtube the ads would leave youtube and take the page to a Flash update page and another time it automatically downloaded java.exe? Nice extension but the ads you're allowing are a huge security risk.
Really cool extension at first. But then they injected ads into Amazon, Google, more. I turned the ads off and like others have mentioned, they were turned back on. Not cool. And definitely can't trust the people behind this extension. And to the creator who posted a review: I definitely understand needing to make a living. But the way to do it isn't by sneakily injecting ads into other websites. Like someone else mentioned, maybe try asking for small donations. Or even better, create an awesome premium-only feature that forces people to pay. Or inject ads into the actual new tab page. But please don't hijack other pages.
was ok till the disturbing adds show up! seriously ? video adds that jump out without a notification ?
Now with ads and even if you go to settings to disable it, it wont save the settings. Was good before.... now it just monitors what you do online and puts BS ads.
It was good until the ads showed up. Deleting it.
