The "Open in Brave" extension simplifies opening the current tab or links within the Brave browser. With this extension, you can send links to the Brave browser without the hassle of manually copying and pasting links. Additionally, it can open all tabs in the destination browser with a single click. You can also close the tab opened in the destination browser if prefer so.
If Brave is already running, the link opens in a new tab; however, if Brave is not running, a new instance is launched, then the link is directed there.
Remarks:
1. To enable this extension to open links in the Brave browser, you'll need to install a native client. Installation instructions are provided upon requesting link opening. For visual guidance, there are two short video tutorials available in the screenshot section, covering installation steps for Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
2. Currently, the native client only supports macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Support for other operating systems is not available at this time.

A little project that allows you to open the website you are on into a little popup after pressing the icon!!
Extension is asking to download and run node.js script, and looking at the node.js script, it has major vanuralites. Is this extension malicious by design? probably not, do I want to allow an attacker this easy way to hack my computer? No.
When you use the extension from a browser that is not protected by VPN the openend other browser version will also not be protected by VPN. So, it's completely useless.
vyžaduje stažení dalších dat mimo obchod chrome. Nejedná se o oficiální doplněk Brave
So far, so great. If you're looking to open utoob pages in the ad blocking brave browser, you've come to the right place.
I run multiple browser types and this extension makes it super easy to open a link from the Chrome types to Brave. It works perfectly. Thank you
not working
No other (binary) file needs to be installed in September 2023, just the extension. Works flawlessly.
junk
Seems to work well so far. As with others, the extra script download is worrying and not for the non-technical
The binary installation makes me very nervous. This would be the ideal way to install deep malware. If you are on OS X, Choosy does the same thing but with a signed application and with automation allowing you to choose the browser of choice with each link. There is a Choosy browser extension which works in Brave and Opera and Chromium (I don't use Chrome for privacy reasons). If an external party has audited Open in Browser Extension, I'm open to increasing my rating.
