Exactly what I needed. The inability to remove this annoying feature natively is such a massive oversight. Thank you, to whoever made this extension. For anyone confused about not being able to click links....all you need to do is click the link you want to open and on your keyboard push alt+enter. It's not hard, and it's way more intentional than accidentally opening them if that stupid dropdown interferes. You guys can get used to it---it's very easy.
As someone else mentioned: it completely removes the link. As in: it makes it inaccessible to be clicked. I had hoped it would just hide the super annoying pop-ups suggesting to replace the link with plain text. (If I wanted that, I'd enter the text and add the link with ctrl+k.)
YES!!! Sanity saver! Hey all... since links aren't clickable, just use ⌥RETURN on a Mac to open links! I'm sure there's a PC equivalent.
This plugin has changed my life, if I could give it 10 stars I would. Link previews in google sheets is the single greatest evil ever perpetrated on this earth and this plugin just took the pain away. Thank you whoever made this.
Works well. The links may seem useless at first but if you right click it you can select "open link in new tab". Not the most ideal workaround but it's better than having the link previews popup. I hope this will be changed in the future!
This extension remove the link completely. Not useful at all.

It hides the link preview window (not fully, there is a floating little thing left) But it also renders ALL links useless. What a totally DUMB extension.
