Never Lose Text helps you recover text you typed into websites — even if a tab crashes, a page refreshes, or a session expires. It quietly saves your input while you type, and lets you restore it right back into the field when you need it.
What it does
- Automatically saves text from inputs, textareas, and content-editable editors
- Restores saved text directly back into the same field (context menu + quick actions)
- Keeps everything on your device (local-only storage)

Good idea, but doesn't work. Doesn't save on most sites, and half the time when it does it captures text as I'm in the middle of typing, and doesn't save when I finish, so tons of partials.
Our company uses Oracle as part of the Performance Evaluation database. For some reason, Chrome randomly refreshes, and when it does, I'll lose whatever text I typed into the form that I didn't save. This saves 90-95% of the text you type into a form. Great start for REV 1.0 of this extension.
Working well! Thank you very much. Wish I would be able to right click on an input field to select the data I entered there before.
