Works very well without consuming any memory. It lists the amount of emails you have. I had to remove Checker Plus because it kept showing errors/crashes too many times, but it was an excellent Gmail extension when it worked.
I have been using this extension (and in its time the extension for departed Inbox) as long as I have been using Chrome. I recently purchased a new chrome book and installed all of my usual extensions. This one works in that it is capable of opening Gmail when clicked but lately it is grayed out and does not indicate the number of unread messages. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling, then clearing memory.
