Should be configured to show notification only for certain types of inbox (e.g. primary only). It sometimes just turns into gray even though there is network connectivity and you should click on it to have it work again. It would be nice if it could also show desktop notifications.
Its cool but even after I have checked my email it still has the alert.

Nice idea, but it rarely displays the actual count of new message. I currently have 6 unread messages in my inbox and this tool is reporting 17. Searching by 'is:unread' shows me the 6 I expect to see and I have no idea where the tool sees the additional 11 messages.

It doesn't show the number of unread mails; it shows the number of messages in the inbox. And, there's no way to remove it from the bar.
Idealny gdyby nie wariował od czasu do czasu :) Nie zeruje liczby nieprzeczytanych maili.
I love this button, it's an easy way to see if you have any mail on your google account. The only thing is that it doesn't update... what i mean is that if i do have mail, i won't know unless i click on the button, then it updates. That;s one thing they could make better, other than that it's prefect.
