I see that the extension was updated, however I also see that people are still mad that it isn't refreshing. I looked in the code for the extension and see that the polling interval for the extension can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour. Who wants to wait 1 hour for an update to occur? That's kind of ridiculous. I manually changed mine to update every 3 to 5 minutes.
With the 4.3.4 update, the extension uses features that are only available in the DEV channel of Chrome. Needs an update to fix.
doesn't refresh as it's used to. the only possibility is to close/open your browser. please update it soon or i'll find something else.
Good extension, but it needs more options and more freqented check.
I really like this extension, but it does tend to not refresh/sync very fast...more so since the recent update. even so, I would still recommend it! Just tested my theory... If I close my browser and reopen it, this extension refreshes.
Nice and convenient for a "You got Mail" kind of alert... but doesn't refresh in any kind of logical way or very often... REALLY NEEDS A WAY TO FORCE IT TO REFRESH or to sync faster or something so it doesn't continually show that there is new messages even after you've read them to be worthy of a better rating...

It used to work fine but now it does not refresh automatically, i.e. I have to check my emails myself and once I have checked, the number of emails I HAD actually appears on the icon... It could be very useful if it was working fine. Too bad.
Great little extension, but a couple recent problems: 1) It's not consistently clearing alerts when my inbox is empty. 2) Why would it show the number of unread messages overlay when that number is zero? Just remove the overlay entirely so it doesn't catch my eye. It used to work so much better. Fix those things and it'll be back to 100%
Suddenly stopped updating the unread count, when it first loads either with the browser or if you disable and re-enable it will show the correct count but that is all you get from then on out.
