This is a great app, unfortunately, it also causes Chrome to freeze regularly. I had to disable the app just so I could keep browsing.
This works really well and does exactly what it says. It would be great if it could take you to an already open mail window if there is one. I have a google reader checker that does this and it is very convenient and works well in particular with pinned tabs.
Just a link and an unread counter. Needs some basic features like going grey when there isn't any mail to read. Always being red leaves me just ignoring it after a while.
This used to be very useful for me until recently it stopped showing my mail with a grey '?'
Used to work fantastic, but recently for some reason, it is constantly losing it's link to my account and turning grey. I have to re-link it several times per day.
It really needs an option to only show "important" emails (as identified by the "priority inbox" feature in gmail). I have hundreds of unread unimportant emails in my inbox that I never intend to look at. Without an option to show only the important emails this extension is useless to me.
Nice & simple, easy to use... but it'd be better if I could preview messages by hovering my mouse over the icon tho.
needs to be updated badly cause it lacks big time with latest chrome it has a hard time keeping up to date and takes so long to refresh
