Works perfect. There are many of these Gmail extensions, but this is the only one I trust due to it being from Google.
this checker doesn't make a distinction between the primary box and the advertisement box and so give me a false alarm most of the time
you have to go to gmail.com and then it will sync... it's basically a syncer, not a checker
Basically works, but many times will say I have 1 piece of mail, when I actually don't. Not a huge problem.

Good, and very useful and helpful. Only problem is that it thinks I have one unread e-mail even when I don't, but it's not a big deal.
Wow, a mail checker that doesn't check for mail, nor notify you when you have any... Genius! Had this installed for 2 weeks, and not once has it ever checked or notified me of having new mail! I've checked through troubleshooting guides and bug fixes, but nothing worked. It only notifies me I have mail when I click the icon, which opens gmail in a new tab which means I can see for myself if I have mail. Also it doesn't reset the mail counter after you've read your mail. So you have to click the icon to open gmail in a new tab for it to finally do what it's supposed to do; i.e. check for mail, and if you do have mail the icon displays you still have "X" number of new emails until you click the icon again to reset it! It is the literal definition of; Completely and Utterly Useless!
