Started receiving "Chrome has become unresponsive" messages, for example after clicking the [Confirm] button to accept email re-direction. A workaround, is normally to close and re-open the unresponsive tab, and because of this, I think the extension is usable. However in the case above, even doing this repeatedly did not work and I had to disable Google Mail Checker, and restart Chrome.
plutôt bien, disons qu'il n'y a rien de plus basique que ça. si on veut qq chose de plus fouillé et de plus fourni il faut se tourner vers des extensions tiers. bref : ça fait le boulot.
Said i had 7000+ emails and had no way of hanging settings. I removed the extension

Very Important app .....
The icon is very often grayed out with a "?" where the number of new emails should be. It doesn't seem to check for new email like it should. Having to manually go to Gmail just to check for new email defeats the purpose of the extension.
Does what it's supposed to do. Just sometimes It will come up as a question mark and you need to open gmail to get working again. 4/5
