I really tried to like it but sadly it doesn't work.
Notification is far too slow to be useful.
unfortunately this thing stopped working
Since around 23rd-24th of March 2026, the extension is broken. It notifies you, yes BUT with a delay of 5 to 10-15 seconds compared to the official extension. Before March it was working so great that I totally loved it but now, it's just a pain in the @ss to have it around. It's like comparing internet explorer to google chrome - way too late, useless. I've contacted the developer twice, reporting the issue but he never replied so I guess it's a dead project from his side. Thank you for what you've done so far though.
this works incorrectly in US when you have a lot of studies on your dashboard
It does not work if you have more than few available studies on prolific. I have over 100 of them and it's a nightmare to use it - I got spammed with notifications like 50 times per minute. Unfortunately it's buggy and I need to uninstall it.
Literally cannot live without this extension, thank you so so much for making it free. 5 massive stars. Note to author: Is it possible to make it so that our phones can be notified? So we do not have to be chained to our desks waiting to hear the desk notifications. EDIT 26/6/26 this has completely stopped working :(
