I tried 3 extensions, first 2 failed, this one works like a charm :-)
Works exactly as expected, and seamlessly with an instance of QBit running on a Truenas Scale server. Means I don't even need to deal with my monitor folder anymore \o/ There is no special setup required other than the base knowledge of setting up the web UI access, making this a breeze. It *is* momentarily misleading because the moment you enter your credentials, it connects to the server perfectly even showing your current torrent progress. However, chrome needs to be fully closed and restarted to get it to start intercepting .torrent and magnet links. Overall, after trying 10 different ways to automate this process, this is the only one that worked without jumping through hoops.
Doesn't work, trying to login shows Login failed: unexpected response from server, tried everything.
Trying to log in it says that there was a bad response from the server, but inspecting shows just a 204 OK response.
So easy and clean, wish you could se alla active downloads in the addon. Great jobb!
This has to be best extension for qbittorrent. The handling of both magnet and .torrent files are seamless. I would say its even better then the natively instilled torrent clients as it directly catches torrent file downloads and sends them directly to qbittorrent. It also lets you select part of the torrent for downloading.
