SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Seriously, humans getting together and building open source extensions, and then crowdsourcing the data for it to work. Every time I auto skip a sponsor spot, it feels like I'm getting a collective bro-fist from others.

have been using this for months, one of my absolute favorite extensions especially if you watch a lot of youtubers. one of the only extensions i feel passionately enough about to go back and add a review, makes watching youtube feel divine. love that it has a total time counter as well and that there's markers for when an entire video is sponsored

I used to never mind sponsers cuz they were easy to skip, about a minute so just a few right arrow keys, but seeing Anson Belt ads that are hard to find the end of with no transition, and 2 minutes long (minimum) I drew the line.
