SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

This is the best plugin since Adblock. As someone who watches/listens to youtube while I work, this plugin saves me from a bunch of frustration. A lot of content creators will bury sponsor reads several minutes into the video which effects my productivity as I have to stop what I'm doing to fast forward. The idea to crowdsource where to skip forward in a video is ingenious and I am very happy it exists.
Soooooooooo good, one of the best extensions. I've saved an hour and a half and have saved people from a little under a minute (almost nothing)!
This is so helpful, youtube is full of sponsored videos now and this automatically skips every sponsor. Super useful and super smart. I am glad people made this
With all the crazy spam littered across all videos on YouTube, this is an absolutely mandatory extension. However, the current version has a bug that makes it suddenly stop skipping stuff by itself. It highlights, but does nothing. I was tolerant of just going back a bit to get it to recognize the segment to skip, but that stopped working as well. The only current way to fix this is to reinstall. If this bug is fixed, it will be a 5-star extension.
Keeps undoing settings on YouTube like theater mode. You have to disable/uninstall and change a setting and then re-enable/install to get around this which is annoying.
Surprisingly good!
I wish I had known this extension way sooner. This is just amazingly awesome. Makes youtube much much more enjoyable. Now this extension certainly belongs in my top 5 list.
