SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

Awesome extension. It makes YouTube more viewable, and allows me to get to the point of the videos i like to watch without VPN Companies and crummy mobile games shoving "Great" offers down my throat. It brings the YOU back into YOUTube. Also, there is a fork of a third party YouTube app called NewPipe that includes SponsorBlock, so if you have an Android, I recommend you download it. Also, channels begging you to turn on notifications is nerve-wracking. The notification bell was created because not all people want to receive notifications. So begging people to ring the bell is using the function for the WRONG purpose. Get this extension. You'll be glad you did.

Works great, skips ad reads/sponsor spots in the majority of videos that have them. While of course it does not work on every single video, most videos that have an ad read in them are big enough to be crowd sourced fairly quickly after uploading.
