SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

ここの方々は概要に書かれている日本語が読めないのでしょうか？ 下のsutさんという方が言っている通り、この拡張機能の主な目的は動画内に元から入っているプロモーション（案件）の部分を自分でマーク（スキップ）して投稿することです。YouTuberが動画の途中で企業の案件などで商品を宣伝するようなアレです。案件部分だけではなく動画に関係ない無駄な話をしている部分や短いオープニングアニメーションなどもスキップして投稿することもできます。 要は動画内に入っている要らない部分を自動でスキップしてくれるのです。英語圏の動画をよく見る方には便利ですが、残念ながら日本ではあまり普及していないので海外の動画を見ない人にはメリットは少ないかもしれません。ただ最近は日本の動画でも投稿してくれる人がちょっと増えてきたかな？と感じることもあるので試す価値はあります。特に某有名YouTuberや視聴回数の多い動画の案件部分はスキップされていることが多いです。 これは協力しないと意味がない拡張機能なので、もっと日本で流行ればいいのになと思います。 ちなみにですが、YouTube自体が出している広告を削除したい場合はUblock Originという拡張機能をおすすめします。これさえ入れておけばYouTubeだけではなくWebの広告がほぼ全て無くなりますし、Webサイトのいらないオブジェクトも自分で削除してしまうこともできます。
