People seem to be getting confused about what this extension actually does--guys, it does not automatically translate chat messages! What it does is isolate messages from users who DO the live translating, which is common in big Hololive chats. If you're wishing to translate chat messages for indie streamers/streamers from orgs that don't have a huge international audience (who probably won't have members who do translating for the community), this will probably be useless to you. INSTEAD, you can download HyperChat, another extension by LiveTL, that has an automatic chat translator feature (it's still experimental but it works fine for me--it uses Google translate). Clicking the download button here sends you to the same website where that's available. Also, for the dev(s), maybe make it obvious that this is not an automatic translator? Leading with the sentence "Have you ever wanted live translations for HoloLive/Vtuber streams? Well, look no further than LiveTL!" is misleading. I think most people's frustrations here are coming from it not being what they expected. Otherwise, great work! Both of the extensions I use from you all are useful.
embeds into chat and nothing translates
Can't accept chat rules while this is enabled. Might be an interaction issue with ytcfilter, but rather use that. Especially when I can use ytcfilter to filter for en translations.
maaf nih, bagus sih, tapi ada bug kalau ada pop up rules dan guidelines chat, pop up nya muncul di belakang chatnya, sehingga tidak bisa diklik dan ditutup. ditambah kalo ada pop up itu jadi gabisa klik apa apa selain report dan block aja.
I click on it and it sends me to their download page. What?
nowdays livetl and hyperchat works just fine for me, thank you ps: is youtube logo on hyperchat background being there on purpose? https://imgur.com/a/abm51DI also theres presistent error message on chrome extensions page
How does it even work? Tried looking around and all I got was very confused. Doesn't look like it works anyways, don't bother installing.
好用~還可以改善YT聊天室很吃記憶體的問題 搭配網頁翻譯即可把聊天室內的同傳大佬內容翻譯過來
I want to give this a better rating, but this extension is pretty much useless. No clear instructions by the Dev on how to use it, any that are provided are in jargon, ie "If there are no translators in chat", what the heck does that mean? What do you mean translator? The extension is supposed to be the translator! I read something that messages have to be prefixed with the country code, which is pointless because no messages have such a prefix. On top of that, the only message that even appear, though untranslated, are those made by the streamer/mod/another streamer. No messages from regular chat show at all. So again, what is the point? How is this useful for anyone trying to read the chat?
really good extension
