It works great for Ctrl+T , but when you open a series of tabs by middle-clicking several links in a row on the same page, the tabs come out in reverse order. There's supposedly an option that makes it not do that, but setting that option only fixes it for a little bit - it always stops working again later that day.

Sweet! I don't understand how it was so hard to find this extension, even though it does something so simple and important! I hate having tabs go to the far right of my tab-row, but this extension keeps new tabs close to the current one, just the way I like it. Thank you! :)

Does exactly what it says, opens the tab next to the current selected one. Thank you!

Aaah much better! Trying Chrome coming from Firefox I find the default Chrome behavior strange. With this extension tabs opened from clicking in a link appear immediately to the right of the current tab, instead of the far right. Also closing a tab activates the one to the left, which I like better than the last used tab.
