Usage Meter for Claude

Usage Meter for Claude adds a small toolbar popup that shows your current Claude.ai usage-limit status, including the 5-hour window, the 7-day window when available, and reset timing when Claude provides it. The toolbar icon gives an at-a-glance usage ring, and the popup includes a refresh button for a fresh reading.

This extension is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic. It works only when you are signed in at claude.ai.

Privacy: the extension does not operate a Notavello server, does not sell data, and does not share user data with third parties. It requests access to claude.ai only to use your existing signed-in Claude session to read usage-limit information shown to your own account. It stores only the organization identifier needed for usage requests and the last displayed usage percentage locally in Chrome storage.

Reviewer notes:

The extension uses only storage, alarms, and host access to https://claude.ai/*. It does not include remote JavaScript or external script tags. To test, sign in to claude.ai in the same Chrome profile, install the extension, and click the toolbar icon. The popup should display the signed-in account's 5-hour and 7-day usage-limit status. If no Claude session is present, the popup shows a signed-out message.
