When downloading files from ILIAS that end in .sec this extension does the following:
It checks to see if the end of the filename contains a valid file extension ("example3dm.sec" for example contains the valid file extension 3dm but "test.sec" does not contain any valid file extensions).
If this is the case it changes the file extensions to this valid extension (i.e. from "example3dm.sec" to "example.3dm").
It can be disabled by clicking on the extension icon in the toolbar.
