This extension is a genuine godsend, one of the most simple and easy to use novel translators I've tried so far. I've been using it mostly to translate a lot of non-english fanfictions on the net. Sure some of the translations are a bit iffy (A korean fanfic about a japanese setting has the translation mostly use Korean suffixes (nim, hyung, unnie) instead of the Japanese equivalent. Not really that much of an issue but still noticeable nonetheless, thanks for making this!
Honestly it's good but in free plan you only get to translate 10 chapters a month. Well, we can't expect to translate chapters all we want anyways. But seriously I'd be really glad if they stretch that chapter limit since i only use free plan.
One of the better translation extensions I've used so far. Not having to copy the raws into my notes app first before actually translating them is definitely a plus. Shame that I can only translate each page one by one instead of many at once, but thats mostly because the website I use to read korean fanfiction (Novelpia) is protected so I can't just link the raws. Still a pretty good extension overal, thanks!
the translation is really good!!!
it's not long since i discovered and use this feature by opennovel but im glad it was such a helpful for me to read the novel! and the translation result is perfect—easy to understand, make me cooped up all day along just to read a novel:D
Good and easy to use! I have hard times reading raw novels using google translate and it made my reading easier than ever!
Previously, I had to make do with using the built in chrome translator to read raws at Novelpia. They're not the most legible and the formatting is hard on the eyes, but it was decent. Then I saw a reddit post mentioning this extension and decided to try it out. And my goodness is it worth it. The translations was leagues above chrome's MTL, and the output fornat is easy to read! In addition, it accurately uses context clues to decide the most appropriate equivalent words in English. So glad I decided to give it a try!
It's nice not having to copy every few paragraphs into another site to get eligible translation. The ease of use of this extension isd definitely a plus. The only negative so far is that for Korean novels the ai seems to be having trouble with distinguishing he and she, as well as rotating between using Japanese and Korean Suffixes. Thanks for developing this, sure unlocked a lot of fiction I previously had no access to due to the language barrier!
One of the best Novel translator i've used so far, I usually wait until someone else translated stories to then be uploaded into wattpad or AO3, but with this i could read them from the source! It unlocked so many stories that would otherwise be left unread, so thanks for that!
It's very easy to use. And the instant result is amazing. But, for some complicated sentences in Japanese, you have to check and re-check because the translation sometimes misrepresent the meaning, especially the subject (he/she) sometimes is totally wrong. Also, because Japanese novel usually does not include subject, you need to have a sufficient knowledge to check it.
