There seem to be no updates on actual grammar issues. Some new features, yes. Rephrasing tools and whatnot. But nothing happens on the grammar side of things. There are a lot of shortcomings, missing words, wrong corrections, massive troubles with corrections and where they are placed in a text. You'll often garble your text. If there is an AI at work, it was trained once and then stopped learning. There is no way to comfortably report bugs. Like, none. Grammarly is a decade ahead on that.
Browser extension doesn't work. Web editor not at all helpful - it missed loads of errors and what it did highlight, you had to upgrade to premium to see. Do not recommend.
I'm sorry but I had to update my review (I've left my 5* Review Below), recently the updates have been bad, it was working perfectly fine before. You can write a sentence that is directed at a person but linguix suggestions will give you a response as if you are speaking to a third person or as if it's answering back to a question as if your sentence was a question for linguix. +++++++ Previous Review: Linguix at this moment for me is the best alternative in terms of price. Testing the product I can say improvements are required, but I believe this will occur as the product continues to mature. Out of all the add-ons Linguix provides, the Chrome extension is by far superior. This product has been helpful for grammar and sentence rephrasing. It was great to come across this alternative tool to "G...."
I highly recommend this tool because it helps me a lot with my writing. It alerts me when I'm talking too much and helps me structure my sentences. I love the paraphrasing feature as it speeds up the editing -- you can instantly improve the whole sentence without accepting individual corrections. However, there are times when I want to turn it off because it can interfere with my writing process, especially when I know how to spell certain words.
If you're looking for an effective solution to tackle spelling and grammar errors in your English writing, Linguix is a must-try. What I find particularly helpful is that Linguix works seamlessly across various websites and platforms, instantly highlighting any errors and providing helpful recommendations. However, one drawback is that there's currently no option to import existing documents into the platform for review. Nonetheless, Linguix is an excellent tool for anyone who wants to elevate their writing and ensure it's error-free.

Linguix is exactly the app I'm looking for. Works with Chrome and iPhone too! I have removed the pricey Grammarly right away.
I tried a personal account before buying more for corporate team use. As many others have said, this has quite a bit of potential. I think Grammarly pricing is too high for many users, even for teams for most companies. However, Linguix needs to fix/spend time on the outlook plugin (the program not the web) to be taken seriously and used by corporations. Look forward to watching the software evolve and will check on occasion to see if its ready for corporate use.
Love at first sight! Tl;DR -Very easy to figure out and use - Responsive and great customer support - Competes with similar writing products - Awesome value for such an important part of my daily job - writing! -The Shortcut feature is super useful, and I love how it is easy to figure out without having to read much about it. Love this program and so excited to have it for a lifetime (which Grammarly does not offer)!
