Works for a few searches, then the overview shows up as the second result. Then it just fails to hide it entirely. Reinstall.... and right back to the same behaviour. This is with Firefox on Ubuntu 22.

I NEEDED this. I detest AI overview, and the fact that Google has basically decided that we are undeserving of so much as a simple toggle to turn it on or off drives me so far up the wall, I might as well be on the ceiling. I love this extension so much. I can finally search up my ridiculously stupid questions in peace again, without AI overview popping up to say "have you tried turning it off and on again?" while my laptop is practically about to burst into flames. Again, I love this extension; 10/10!!!

Used to work sometimes when I first downloaded it. Now it doesn't work at all. Otherwise it is a good extension. I've always wanted to have the option to not have the AI review show up on my search. So I definitely appreciate this existing.
Does not work as of 07/17/25. Please fix! Otherwise this is a very helpful extension, I do not like the AI overviews for many reasons, like their negative impact on the environment and rural communities (cough cough Meta is northern Georgia). They are also not as useful as just seeing an excerpt from the first result like it used to.
