It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

many year really top greatttttttt... extension! thankful to dev.
This extension works with Twitch, and lets you reset the Twtich player speed from 1.03 back to 1.00 whenever the pitch is totally off on music in streams. This has saved my life, letting me listen to DJ streams with proper sounding audio now!

Thank you for creating the extension. I have some feedback: When I press any of the buttons, such as the plus button, I believe the event bubbles up and interferes with the video player. Clicking the plus button speeds up the video, but if I quickly click it twice, the video pauses due to the native double-click logic. Could you please fix this?
edgeだとアマプラで不具合出ます。倍速にすると音がでなくなり止まってしまいます。 youtubeは大丈夫です。クロームでも不具合出ないです。 使い勝手がとてもいいので改善して頂けるとありがたいです…。
youtubeで使えなくなった。同様の拡張機能も使えなくなってるのでおそらくyoutube側の改変に要る影響だと思われます。

７倍速までは問題ありません。何を言ってるか聞き取れるわけもありませんが音声も出ています。それ以上の速度ではクルクルしながらコマ送りというか...。私はYouTubeとAmazonプライムビデオで使っていますが3倍速で問題なく使えています。２倍速で問題あるのであれば、ネット環境かPCの問題(古い、性能が低い)ではないでしょうか。
