It will help you optimize your video viewing by allowing you to make quick playback speed adjustments, as well as rewind the video to hear the last few second one more time. We don't read at a constant speed, and we talk much slower than we read - there is no reason why we have to listen at a constant speed and at a (very) slow rate.
Once the extension is installed simply navigate to any page that offers HTML5 video, and you'll see a speed indicator in top left corner of the video player. Hover over the indicator to reveal the controls to accelerate, slowdown, or rewind the video (10 seconds + lowers playback speed). Or, even better, use your keyboard:
- S - decrease playback speed.
- D - increase playback speed.
- R - reset playback speed.

Really great, working everywhere and has all the options I need in quite a simple manner!
bug occur recently, some video can't speed up normally, or can't catch up the audio which has already sped up
Features (huge pros) - 0.01 precision of speed customization - 0.07x speed all the way up to 16x speed range available - fully customizable shortcuts and even multiple customizations for the same function, like one hot key can change speed by 0.5 increments, and another by 0.1 or even 0.01 increments, which is all the hotkey control you could ask for - hotkeys for changing to a preferred speed, resetting speed, skipping forward and back custom values - shows current speed multiplier just over the window, you can drag this around to whatever part of the window you want it to sit over as an overlay, and you can hover over it to bring up a minimalist list of buttons for controlling speed and skipping through video Things to keep in mind - hotkeys of extension will only work when the window with the video is selected - when editing hotkeys, even after clicking "save", those will not take effect on an already opened window, just refresh the window and everything newly saved in settings will apply - I'm using chrome, so far no issues Definitely the best one out there!

For some reason it doesn't work on OperaGX for me, even though it's chromium based...
I can't thank you enough! Playback speed changes at the push of a key. Options well above 2x! (2x is too slow) It has become nearly unbearable to watch videos any other way. I must always a computer with your plugin. Thank you!
