It's a simple switch: click to disable, click to enable.
It works on "per host" basis and will disable images for the given host (the currently selected tab), not for all hosts.

i love this extension, it's so cool
Great for me. I am able to turn off image loading for my site while running a script that doesn't need the images, making things much faster. Thanks dev!
Из всего того, что есть в магазине Chrome это приложение действительно лучшее. Поэтому ставлю высшую оценку. Но если сравнивать не с тем, что есть, а с тем, что хотелось бы видеть в функционале расширения. То, конечно же очень нужной и полезной функции "подгружать уже кешированые изображения" и возможности загружать одно конкретное изображение (а не все изображения со страницы) очень не хватает. Надеюсь что-то подобное может появиться в ближайшем будущем. Но пока альтернатив не встречал.
Очень искал простую кнопочку "вкл/выкл изображения" в Гугл Хром. Нашел. Счастлив!!!
Doesn't work on Google...
This is just what I needed. I often need to quickly read pages and get distracted by all the fancy images and the new trend for massive images breaking-up the text is making it worse. Now I can just click and it all goes away just leaving the text - much better!
Simple and usefull. But bad looking icon.
ridiculous. when I click on the extention the ability to enable and disable images on a page is greyed out.
