I absolutely LOVE Fathom! It allows me to focus entirely on listening and actively participating in meetings without worrying about taking notes. The meeting summaries are incredibly helpful, and having access to the video recordings is invaluable. One feature request would be expanded language support, particularly for Hebrew, as some of my meetings are conducted in that language.
I already rely on Fathom to keep the kinds of detailed notes I've always wanted. I am an Asana user and really needed the bullet points for action items it produces. So happy to have the kind of detail and succinct and very accurate notes it keeps.
I absolutely LOVE Fathom. It has helped me so much in my business. I love that it not only records, but transcribes the call, sends a copy to participants, and keeps track of tasks. I recommend Fathom to all my clients. It just makes sense.
Great app. Best summary and full recording AI app I have experienced. I have used quite a few and Fathom is the best!
Fathom is a great tool for capturing my meeting notes and followup actions. I have setup an integration so that the notes are send to my notion database, making it part of my flow of work rather than having to manually copy the notes. The chrome extension means I dont forget to add it in when I jump into adhock meetings too.
I'll only use video calls with Fathom now and forever. I've tried the competitors, and they did ok, but then I tried Fathom and never looked back. I love features like getting consent to record in advance, searchable transcripts, and automated or one-click sharing after the call. I also appreciate knowing I can drop my pen and be present for my clients because Fathom ensures I can return to any moment in the call. Fathom's great for testimonials, reflections, and capturing ideas for products and content that arise randomly during calls. Try it, you won't regret it.
I tried a different AI notetaker and didn't care for it. I deleted it before finding Fathom. One of my writing coaches uses Fathom himself on his own coaching calls. I asked how to get it, he explained, and I was signed up in minutes. This is far and above better than the other one I tried. I will not abandon Fathom. It does everything I need: it opens and automatically records sessions I join, it creates a summary and a transcript (sorry, even Fathom's speech to text can't translate mumbling), and it stores my recorded events until I've reviewed them and chose to delete from my list. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Fathom.
We've tried several AI notetaker tools and fathom beats them hands-down. Love it and am still impressed every single time I receive the email with the summary notes (and that's immediately after the call has ended). Here's a note I received from someone I had talked to (and who had then also received the notes): "OMG this is great! @[his business associate] we need to look at this notetaker."
It's an amazing tool even with just the free version. It works with no hassle and makes it super easy to get the recordings and share them along with summaries afterwards.
The outstanding notetaking skills of the system allows me to focus on my clients / the person I'm speaking with, rather than capturing what they say. I'm able to be more present in meetings as a result. Additionally, keeping tabs on how much I'm talking vs the other person in the meeting is so valuable! The new notes feature where you can change the format of the notes entirely with a click of the button (change templates) is outstanding. And the Zapier integration is great. I have a zap set to send each action item to my to do list in Clickup (my task management system).
