Although I haven't used every meeting AI tool available, Fathom has come out as a leading tool in this field very rapidly. It easily competes with some of the most well-known brands in the market and is loaded with helpful features. The capability to look for particular moments or subjects from a meeting is what truly caught my attention (and what I personally valued the most). Even if a topic was brought up more than once during the meeting, you can ask Fathom about it and it will direct you to the section where it was covered. Additionally, it provides a brief summary of the topic's discussion, saving you the trouble of listening to the entire recording and giving you the complete context. Sharing the meeting recording and summary with those who weren't on the initial call (the invitees) is a feature that I would really like to see added. That would elevate an already great tool and make collaboration even simpler.

We switched to Fathom from Gong and Zoom and it has been excellent for our business. The Chrome extension makes it even easier to use. Overall the pros are: quick and easy to get started, recording notes and action steps are accurate and thorough, great for sharing calls among an entire organization, it's affordable, and it has a very user friendly interface. Highly recommend!

Fathom's summaries and action lists are so spot-on, I was always a bit nervous about using a notetaker because they never seemed to get it right & I found I would still hand write notes in client meetings. I struggle with this because I get so caught up in writing the notes that I don't give my full attention to what's being said. Fathom has reliably fixed that for me and I am confident in the summaries that it produces and my clients' really appreciate having an immediate snapshot of our conversation sent to them.
