I really liked the auto-save feature It helped me when filling out application forms and made it easy to recover my work if something went wrong. Very useful and easy to use.
its easy to use i love it is free to use as it keeps drafts secure while i fill out forms and write messages or complete onlne tasks
Highly recommend DraftGuard. It perfectly tackles session timeouts and accidental back-clicks with a single restore bar. Setup is straightforward, execution is snappy, and having complete control over my facts gives massive peace of mind. A mandatory install!
One feature that stands out is the optional AI drafting tool. It can learn your writing style from text you provide and create draft responses that sound more like you. It only uses information you've given it and leaves blanks when details are missing, which helps avoid making things up. You can review everything before inserting it into a form.
This extension is an absolute game-changer if you do a lot of online typing. There is nothing worse than losing a long form because a page timed out, and this completely fixes that.
DraftGuard helps users protect their work by saving form entries and recovering lost text after crashes or accidental page closures. It keeps drafts secure while users fill out forms write messages or complete online tasks
Honestly thought this was going to be another scammy ai wrapper extension that locks all the basic features behind a heavy monthly subscription paywall after three days, But the core local recovery and text reuse features are completely free and unlimited. They actually kept the premium ai parts completely separate and optional. it is a genuinely helpful utility that respects your wallet and your time.
tbh i just hate typing things out more than once. i’m applying to like fifty internships right now and using this thing makes it way less of a drag. it just remembers what i wrote before and drops it right into the boxes for me even if the questions are worded slightly different. the ai voice thing is pretty neat too because i just talked into it for two minutes and now it spits out drafts that actually sound like me instead of a weird corporate robot.
No account setup. No forced signups. No bloating analytics packages tracking my background usage. it is exceptionally rare to find an extension that just does exactly what it says on the tin without trying to farm your data to third party networks. DraftGuard just protects my text entry fields silently and stays out of the way until a site crashes. cleanly built, lightweight, and respectably private.
pros: There is zero signup or account creation forced on you if you just want to use the local recovery and basic autofill options. it just works right out of the box. The reuse feature is smart enough to match different form labels like first name and given name perfectly. saves you from retyping the exact same personal details on dozens of different application pages. cons: the 2.0 passive learning option requires you to consciously toggle it on if you want the app to adapt your saved answers to your writing style over time.
