This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
The extension comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list.

Simplesmente não funciona. Não aparece ícone nenhum. Continuo sem poder ler meus rss com o chrome.

N'étant pas un expert, pour ma part les flux RSS j'en avais déja entendu parler mais c'était vraiment du chinois pour moi, impossible de définir ce que c'est, à quoi ça sert, etc. J'ai donc décidé de tester l'appli et au final je la trouve d'une totale inutilité non pas parce que je ne sais pas m'en servir, c'est très simple d'utilisation mais elle n'apporte, selon moi, rien: Je suis allé sur un site dont la page affichait plusieurs vidéos et bien en cliquant sur l'appli, ça m'a permis de choisir une vidéo à laquelle m'abonner mais simplement d'une manière différente de l'option "favoris" de la barre de navigation. Mon verdict est en conséquence d'une étoile
Opino los mismo que muchos usuarios, esta función debería venir por defecto en Google Chrome..
IT SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK. IT GIVES BAD NON-WORKING RSS LINKS THAT ARE USELESS.
This should be default for any browser. The icon has disappeared from the toolbar and even though I check that is is enabled in the extensions page, the icon remains to be found ... :'( Please fix this dear Google!

Why is there no native rss/atom handling built in to chrome?

Great half the time, terrible the other time. Half the time it works great with no problems. But on some websites when I click the RSS symbol it flickers on and off and basically spasms itself into unusability, which is very frustrating.
