Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

This extension requires permissions to inject a piece of code in all of the pages you visit. If that freaks you out, that's ok. Handing over those permissions freaks me out too.

You can choose to install this extension from source (it's very short) to make sure it's not doing anything malicious.

Thank you! I honestly cannot believe Google pushed this update. They claim ONLY 0.4% of users used the backspace key to go back on webpages. That seems incredibly low to me. Are those of us that use the backspace key some freak (brains wired differently) type of people or what? I can say I use a ton of keyboard shortcuts for every piece of software, OS, etc -- so perhaps that ties into the mentality of using backspace instead of mousing it back like the other 96%? Whichever way is logically faster is what I use,.. only makes sense. Backspace is faster on a desktop and especially a laptop with trackpad. Given there are only 121 reviews on this and 6k users I suppose the numbers are right/close to 0.4%. That said, even 0.4% of ALL the google chrome users should be ENOUGH people for Google ... GOOGLE to put a single developer (or a team if necessary) on coding out a proper solution for this before blindly pushing it (regardless of majority demand). This is not an off/on binary feature/function. We can gave BOTH ways -- I would be completely happy with default = backspace does not = go back page BUT option in settings to enable Backspace = Go back page. I understand why the current coding doesn't allow this,.. but it is 100% an issue that can be fixed by Google devs -- Has google become that lazy with it's browser? Really? For all of those that have been using backspace for all these years.. it's built into our neural pathways/muscle memory if you will -- and it's just quicker.. again, especially on certain form factors. Anyhow, I guess smh at Googe, and thank you for this work around until Google resolves the source. You are a super hero to me. :)

Seems to do just what it says on the tin, shame google couldn't do an official one so that I could use it at work.

Works as intended; using the Backspace key to go back on Chrome. Seriously Google, at least give people the option to re-enable it.

Google devia se preocupar com outras coisas, do que mexer no atalho mais simples que existe. Parabéns pela extensão!

I don't know why I have to download this... This should not be a thing that I have to download. Why do people love 'fixing' things that work so well. The extension does exactly what it says it does and works great.

I never comment when leaving feedback, but I hope Google checks your reviews so they can see how stupid it was for them to change this feature. Thanks for this.

It doesn't work. The only thing this plugin do is take access to your data.

a lifesaver a 'ridiculous we need to make an extension to enable a decade long default browser functionality' lifesaver, but a lifesaver nonetheless
