This is a great extension for managing the cruft and junk that Facebook keeps pushing into your face. If you want to get back to a Facebook that is about your friends, and your friends' feeds, then this will help a lot. I have particularly enjoyed removing the following: - trending: I watch/read real news, not FB's interpretation of the news - people you may know: don't care! - political posts, via text filtering All of a sudden, FB is once again about keeping up with people I don't see on a regular basis. IOW, it's useful again!

Don't install a fake; this is the real deal here. Hate Facebook, but just can't get away from it? This is for you. You can customize to your heart's content; hide content you don't want to see, including many or most ads. You can even hide posts with specific words or content. Be notified when friends ditch you. Safe and virtually invisible. Try it; you'll like it. What've you got to lose?
Top add on for any FB user, I always recommend it. Cuts those irritating things you don't need and tidies up the page appearance. Don't forget to dip into the FB Purity donate page every now and then it's well worth a few $ to keep from being manipulated ;)
