I have been using FBP for several years on Firefox & have donated more than once during that time. I have recommended it so many times to family & friends - whether or not they choose to install it I do not know. I am now using Chrome (which I do not like) and FBP is working just as well on here. If I did not have this extension, I would not be using Facebook at all! FBP gets rid of all the annoying stuff which I don't want to see! I can control exactly what I wish to see! Thank you Steve!!!

Love this app, it does what i need it to do!
Works quite reasonably well, though Facebook seems to be working to make it harder to do that. I found a glitch in something I expect but most people might not... wrote an email w/ details and got a fix, all in a couple of days!

Very effective (as of October 2020) permanent revert fix. As Steve has helpfully explained, you can still make audio and video calls via the separate site for FB-owned messenger.com, while keeping the main FB site reverted, as calls will not work on a reverted browser messenger within FB. Whew, what a mouthful! But it works! It has also solved a glitch where my Group feeds would only show a few posts and then nothing more. The additional Purity options are also useful, such as blocking popup notifications and coloured text-post backgrounds, showing a wide-screen feed, etc. Long may it last!
Extension does everything I want of it, including keeping FB relevant to me. The latest update will require at least a day of nothing but going though my FB and refining it to see my friends' posts over all the pages & detritus collected by that juggernaut of a site. FB Purity keeps my friends where I can see them and not deal with FB's agenda.
I would've quit FB a long time ago if it wasn't for this program! I started using Chrome just so I could use it, and it was well-worth the switch. Steve's on top of his game!
