The BEST Chrome extension by far. Cuts out all the ragbaiting groups, pages and AI slop. I can't recommend this enough
Facebook is almost unusable without this extension because your feed otherwise becomes overrun with clutter from sources you have not followed and to which you have not subscribed. If you block that source, another takes its place and it is impossible to rid yourself of the trash. It says plenty about the quality of Facebook itself (1 star review) that you must actually install an extension to make it usable. I just sent FB Purity a donation and it is well worth the money.

In 5+ years of using this extension, it has been the only way to make that hellsite and its' slew of brain-poisoning sponsored and suggested content readable.

I've been using this for years or ever since it came out - and it works beautifully! I'd not be able to stand being on facebook without this extension, due to the constant deluge of ads and having to search through them for my friends posts! This extension is a real lifesaver in my book and I've never expereinced ANY issues during all this time with leaked personal info, security issues, etc....Can't say enough for the facebook warrior who came up with this! (Not all heros wear capes...but he deserves one!) ;-)
Works great, this is the only way I can use Facebook - anything else is incredibly painful.
Didn't work. Reels disabled? No. Suggested groups disabled? No. Sponsored ads disabled? No. None of it worked. I refreshed, started a new browser. Just didn't work. Developer responds to negative reviews with "Yes it does work. Read our site" blah blah blah. No, it doesn't work. Nothing I blocked was actually blocked. Either the extension works or doesn't work. I'm not interested in extensions where I have go to a website and follow explicit instructions to make something that should automatically work when I install it functional.
Förmodligen hade jag likt många andra redan gett upp FB om inte FBP funnes. Probably would have given up on FB already if it wasn't for FBP.
