It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

It isn't working as it should. I think it's failing because it is not compatible with the newer versions of Chrome, needs an update.

great extension (Especially after TGS was removed) but its a 4 star since theres a bug where the suspended tabs are white for some reason edit: 5 star now, since issue is fixable by running (chrome://restart) on a new tab
Very good app but I would love a Night mode. Please ! For my eyes sake :)
I prefer "Auto Tab Discard" and "Tab Suspender".
Really good, but any chance you could add an exception list (maybe domain name based or something?)
pour listant rien a dire du fonctionnement la quantité de RAM en moins est flagrante.
One problem: When removing the extension, all suspended tabs are closed and lost... A little warning would be nice
A transformative extension - my little Lenovo Duet went from chugging and straining to zipping along through dozens of tabs with barely a pause. Now for most usage it's faster than my Microsoft Surface Pro. Amazing!
