uTab is a way to infinity options for customizing the New Tab. Among the most interesting functions you can find the next:
- make as many folders with different bookmarks as you need right on the new tab
- apply dark/light mode
- opportunity to change the background of a start page
- support clocks from 10 time zones
uTab is a unique Start Page where you can add an unlimited amount of folders with bookmarks. Any bookmark or a group of them can be organized in separate folders that contain up to 83 bookmarks. Create different folders with lots of bookmarks that you set according to topics, tasks, users, etc. Rename them, copy, choose the background and organize bookmarks inside of each folder. Upload preview to easily navigate across the many bookmarks folders.

Great extension - export and import feature is very valuable
How do you add bookmarks on the new tab page? I can't find anywhere a button with plus sign or something similar for it ... Don't tell me that only way is importing bookmarks from settings?
Ehkä paras aloitussivulaajennus, mutta yhtäkkiä monen viikon käytön jälkeen hukkasi kaikki asetukset ja linkit. Maybe the start screen extension, but after a few weeks of use lost all settings.
This is honestly the best free new tab extension available. If the feature to save a local backup in a JSON is added, this is getting 5 stars from me.
This is very useful extension for those who are using Brave to get the chrome's look in new tab. I does allow me to change background however I'd like to get random pictures based on my preference from unsplash.com. I doesn't have this functionality yet. Would appreciate if you could add it when you have time. Otherwise this is a 5 star, no doubt.
Not Bad! Was using X New Tab. This seems a bit more friendly. Just getting started though.
Make preview is not working anymore. You can make the selection (crop) but the button to Select or whatever it was – not there anymore.
