Night Shift automatically shifts the colors of your browser content to the warmer end of the color spectrum after dark.
⚡ You need to refresh all the tabs, which were opened BEFORE the Night Shift was installed. You can also restart Chrome to refresh all the tabs at once. Otherwise, Night Shift will work only with the newly opened tabs.
⚡In accordance with the Chrome Browser policies, Night Shift is restricted to work on the Chrome Web Store and Home Page. Please open any other website (for example, YouTube) after installing this extension and check the extension in action.
Night Shift provides itself on a scheduled basis, you can choose from 3 options:
1. Sunset to Sunrise (Chrome colors will be shaded every day automatically on Sunset).
2. Off (manually enable the Night Shift to shade the screen)

I like that the texts maintain their vivid colors. I love color options and that you can pick not only the color, but the opacity as well, how vibrant the text colors are. I am not such a big fan of the two-step process of turning on/off dark mode. But I definitely love how it looks on my gmail. It removes the white backsplash (of the opened email) and leaves your theme (for your gmail) unchanged. It’s like seeing your email with your theme as the background. It looks pretty awesome. Again, the two-step process cost this extension a star (but only because I couldn’t dock HALF a point

Nice screen dimming extension, but why does it always need to be reloaded on a page for it to work ?
Works really well for me, both as a blue light filter and a night mode.
Seems to work as advertised, and it's less heavy handed than other extensions while still giving your eyes a break. Just wish there was an easy way to white list sites instead of having to paste them manually into the options screen. A simple "White List This Site" checkbox on the pop-up would be ideal.
it darkens the screen with a nice dark grey, and not a harsh black, which i liked. i also had fun playing around with the different colors you can make the screen, and what i mean by that is you can add a nice, lets say, pink hue to the screen. the only thing I've found odd so far is that, when choosing the colors they invert them, so if i want to choose the purple hue, it goes to the opposite color, which happened to be a brown-ish green. its not too much of a problem for me as it doesn't effect the darkness of the screen, and i can easily figure out the opposite color of the color i want. other than that I'm happy with the extension :)
I love you. I have been searching for one of these for ages and this is the best thing I could find. It was actually better than I was looking for so.. great work!
